Platinum Pawdicure's Story

The Platinum Pawdicure Owner & Founder
Many of our new customers ask, "How did Platinum Pawdicure start?" Throughout Sam's years working in the grooming industry, she came to realize that there was a need for in-home pet nail care. She was heartbroken to see how many pets struggled with leaving their home and coming into a busy, hectic salon environment due to numerous reasons.

Sam was amazed to learn about the high number of people who are not able to leave their homes to provide their pets with the nail care they so desperately needed. She took it upon herself to start going to people's homes to help take care of those who could not travel well, both pets and owners!

She soon came to the conclusion that the demand for in- home nail care was there and that's when she began her mobile pet nail trimming service adventure now known as Platinum Pawdicure.

Sam
Hi, my name is Sam. I'm a pet lover, a fitness trainer, a Tech Assistant at a local Veterinary Hospital, and the world's okiest mom of three. I live a busy lifestyle trying to pursue my love for all things health and pets.

A little history lesson on how I got to where I am today: In 2003 - 2004 I traveled to the United States to pursue a dog stylist career. After graduating I spent the next 15 years dedicated to pet grooming. In 2014 I found a love for fitness and I fell in love with becoming the best possible version of myself. I went back to school to become a personal trainer and group fitness coach. I just recently got certified and have a magnificent community I commit to part-time.

Grooming has always been my first love but I retired and hung up my scissors in 2019 and decided to dedicate my time to mobile nail trims when I realized how many pets weren't receiving proper care due to stress and complications with having their nails done outside of the house.

I will always advocate for pets that have a hard time getting their nails done. I have seen how stressful it can be and always want to make it as comfortable for them as possible. This service is a stress-free part of your pet's maintenance routine and I am more than happy to be a part of it!
